“Canon” for Macron
- greenyoda 9y agoI think the article is drawing unwarranted conclusions from the types of machines used. At the office where I work, I have several Canon printer/copiers just like those pictured. Anyone else who has a day job working in a medium-sized company could have scanned those documents at work - it doesn't mean that there's some large, professional hacking organization that has resources to buy these machines. For that matter, anyone could have access to equipment like this by walking into an office services store (Kinko's, Staples, etc.) and laying down a small amount of cash. If the two documents were scanned simultaneously, it could just mean that two friends were working together in a place large enough to have two machines (e.g., any office services store).
