I just hope that they are being careful not to drill through any adamantine formations. http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Raw_adamantine http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Raw_adamantine
- logfromblammo 9y agoPraise the miners! I firmly believe that the technology to pump water that turns the waterwheel that powers the water pump (and also something else) must be extracting geothermal energy. We just don't see the details. %% It would be a whole lot cleaner (and friendlier to the framerate) to have a 3x3 geothermal power plant building with a magma reservoir under one tile, and a water reservoir under another, which transmits power to mechanisms or axles touching it, and maybe also pressurized steam to any pipe touching it.
