I'm a junior developer in a "Scaled Agile Framework" (SAFe, apparently) team at a VERY big company, and although we never cancel our stand ups, the format seems to exclusively be for status updates / reporting, and not "for the team". Feels like everyone else is habituated to it though, and they don't seem to mind, but it definitely bothers me. Generally lucky if a morning stand up takes 30 minutes, let alone 15.
