In 1995 the Supreme Court struck down an Ohio law that required the disclosure of personal identity on political literature.

- billswift 16y agoBut that is a political point (which I agree with by the way) that has no bearing on whether it would be beneficial for HN or any other particular forum to ban anonymity.
