Not very familiar with all the basic income plans, but do minors get the income to? US population is about 325M, with about 250M > 18 from what I can find. Not that the savings would help much.
- scarmig 9y agoDepends. Probably the type of thing worth experimenting with. Could be a lever for affecting population growth rates, useful for aging populations. If we simultaneously voucherized education, I'd expect probably a couple grand for infants and toddlers, and maybe 8k total for school aged children, to be spent by the child's guardians?
