Power imbalances are abused. That's how you end up with stuff like nsa backdoors. Software freedom helps fix the power imbalance between users and developers.
- watwut 9y agoThat is kinda like saying that letters being private make it harder to caught terrorists, so we should make it question of morality to make all letters public.
