Someone could always go to https://coinmarketcap.com/ https://coinmarketcap.com/ and (sorted by market cap) buy the top N weighted by their current market cap relative to each other. I would say there is no real need for an index at all.
- rubber_duck 9y agoIt's a PITA to buy/sell crypto concurrency, and the difference between exchange price is huge based on seller - having a fund that would do these things efficiently at scale would be useful.
