Not that this greatly affects your counterpoint, but your calculation is off by three orders of magnitude:
151,000,000 calls/year ÷ (365 days/year * 10,000,000,000 calls/day) ~= 0.000041 = 0.0041%.
- Retric 9y agoAnd adjusting for Americans as ~5% of global call volume = 0.0041 * 20 = ~0.081% which may or may not pass a sanity check of one phone call per 2 Americans per year. Assuming say 1 / 2 calls per person per day * 365 * 2 people ~= .07%.
