For job safety, if your job has answers online, you probably want to specialize to move out of that.
- rahoulb 9y agoAs a Ruby developer who has been running my own development business for 10 years and still has to look up how to use Ruby's CSV class every time I use it - I doubt that online answers are going to be what puts me out of business.
- quickben 9y agoIf you have your own business, I can see that. But as I usually work for somebody else, the risk of being replaced is more present.
