I'm currently studying to find a new job. I intend to memorize all the algorithms I can, all the tricks, and completely fake like I'm figuring out the answers on the spot when I interview. I will dedicate the next 3-4 months on this. That's just how things are these days unfortunately.
- eadlam 9y agoThat's not faking anything, that's just learning.
- 1stranger 9y agoYou're supposed to act like you're figuring it out in real time during the interview. They're "seeing how you think". When really you're just trying to recall.
- sigsergv 9y agoLearning what? In most cases you will be strictly forbidden to use basic algorithms in your job. No one allows you to write quick sort or hash-table or crypto from scratch.
