- dean177 10y ago"They'll cost a fraction of the price of virtual reality, starting around $300, and won't require the beefy gaming computers that virtual reality does." Surely this means the resolution per eye is going to be absolute trash.
- boznz 10y agoAt my age I think I prefer having 3 monitors on my desk better than wearing ski goggles.
- kalthose 10y agoI guess what I wonder about is if they call it mixed reality, will I be able to see things outside of the headset screens? I.e. when he describes using the monitors to do work, if I look down can I see my keyboard? this would be a selling point for me.

- evilDagmar 10y agoYep. I can't help but wonder how people will get it off their shoes.
- justinclift 10y agoOh wow, some exec at Microsoft will be salivating at being able to overlay ads on everything. ... and with Win10's telemetry / user tracking, they'd likely become freakishly good at targeting too.
