I grew up in Zambia too (Kabwe). Still remember playing "frukutu" (makeshift ball from old tattered rags and pieces of string) bare feet, pretending to be "Champ" Chitalu! There was a game we also played outside in the rains called "Taach" ("touch"). A sort of Catches in mud, with slides and all the messy fun!
