I use it this way for debit card transactions. I never receive money through PayPal, I don't keep money in my "wallet" there, and my bank account is not linked. Although I made my account when I was 15 or 16, I should be alright. The worst that could happen is I might be unable to pay for a few things. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure an account is even necessary for my use-case. Maybe I can get away with just deleting it.
