I suppose you can't control (or detect?) if the car fails, and if that is the case, the whole system would be screwed.

- astrodust 9y agoThese platforms will have to strap the car down somehow to prevent someone from driving off the platform while it's operating. A crash at that speed would wreck that tunnel and put it out of service for weeks.
