especially if the human-like intelligence doesn't need to pay rent, fear the police, follow laws, sleep, eat ... etc
- ben_w 9y agoIn the absence of counter examples, it's reasonable to assume a truly human-like intelligence needs as much down-time and sleep as a real human, and that it can be as effectively coerced with the threat of simulated prison if it breaks the rules. But the point about food and rent is very economically important if they ever get to be cheaper than human labour.
