A related question -- for companies that assert copyright over all your work done on personal time -- do you typically receive this prior to your start date (along with the job offer letter), or is it something that you have to sign after starting?
- alok-g 10y agoYou are usually made to sign those agreements within a few days of joining. Sometimes you can get a copy ahead of the time, especially if you ask. Offer letters generally state that the offer is subject to your acceptance of these agreements (that you would later sign).
