Most of the changes in this log, and past change logs I have read agree with you. They mention it often and much of the changes work on that.
That have chosen safety first and appear to be working on ergonomics without sacrificing that.
- mathw 10y agoErgonomic improvements are a major focus for the Rust team's 2017 roadmap, both in language changes and tooling. But they'll never sacrifice the core safety principles of the language to do it.
