The answer is yes, I ran one for two years buy purchasing well-known compatible hardware. But you're still at the mercy of OS X upgrades, which require fiddling

The answer is yes, I ran one for two years buy purchasing well-known compatible hardware. But you're still at the mercy of OS X upgrades, which require fiddling and downloading of newer NVidia drivers, etc... So, still not worth it, IMHO.
