Any alternatives? This is the first time I heard of it (that I remember?) and I now kinda want a site like that in my life.

- dorian-graph 9y agoKind of similar... https://www.buamai.com/ https://www.buamai.com/ http://defringe.com/ http://defringe.com/ http://designspiration.net/ http://designspiration.net/ http://www.clikclk.fr/ http://www.clikclk.fr/ http://butdoesitfloat.com/ http://butdoesitfloat.com/ https://niice.co/ https://niice.co/

- ue_ 9y agoI especially love the shots of seemingly boring city architecture like this: http://ffffound.com/image/913174394559f0f170e9af85417302ce83c522bc http://ffffound.com/image/913174394559f0f170e9af85417302ce83... I didn't know I want this site until now, I suppose this kind of stuff is on artsy Tumblr blogs but I don't know where to find those.
- et-al 9y agoIf you want brutalist architecture, @brutgroup on IG is pretty good: https://www.instagram.com/brutgroup/ https://www.instagram.com/brutgroup/
- theoh 9y agoI don't know about "seemingly boring", that's a pretty famous building in Shinjuku. http://www.hiddenarchitecture.net/2015/05/new-sky-building-3.html http://www.hiddenarchitecture.net/2015/05/new-sky-building-3... It's in the post-war Metabolist style. If you want more of that stuff specifically, go where architecture students hang out. Ideally IRL... There's also (again, specific to that style) a good recent book of interviews on Metabolism by Rem Koolhaas et al.
- et-al 9y agoPintrest comes to mind as the most well-known Ffffound copycat, but the interface isn't as clean and they gate their site.
- jack_jennings 9y agohttps://www.are.na https://www.are.na is kinda like this in a wierd, niche tool for internet/image archiving. You either love the interface or don't get it, but a potential replacement nonetheless.
- Nav_Panel 9y agoI showed my friend are.na (after deciding I liked the concept) and they called it "a masculine-branded pintrest clone". I had trouble disagreeing, but I'm open to being convinced otherwise.
