Google should have learnt from Buzz. People do not like to opted in without their consent. If they had made changing background exclusive, a lot of people (even those complaining now) would want to try it out.
- akkartik 16y agoGoogle doesn't have to 'opt out' people everytime they make a change to their website. The phrase 'opt in' is getting mangled way beyond its original meaning of "don't share my data unless I say so."
