That's not true. An average peasant in the feudalism had more free time than an average 9-5 office worker now. In fact, the 8 hour work day is a recent feature. When capitalism arrived initially, it was much worse. The rest of your post shows that you had an easy life, and I'm happy for you. But don't assume everybody can start a startup, travel etc. That's just not the reality out there.
