This is why the left lost. They can't see past racism, sexism, ___ism.
Remember that many of the key swing states Trump won, went Obama 4 and 8 years ago.
I'm not denying that racism had a role in his victory, I just don't think it played as critically of a factor as you think.
- gnaritas 9y agoYou're welcome to think otherwise, you're wrong, but I really don't care; I've seen the numbers, racism was the major factor in the election, it's not a matter of opinion, it's a fact. Ignore facts if you if like, it seems to be the popular thing to do these days.
- ithinkinstereo 9y agoI'm open to listening. Can you share your facts with me?
- gnaritas 9y agoYou can start here https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2017/04/17/racism-motivated-trump-voters-more-than-authoritarianism-or-income-inequality/?utm_term=.9d381cd4a09d https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2017/04/1... and if you really care, google a bit and you'll have no issue finding plenty of evidence that racism was the key factor in this election; and if you know personally many Trump voters it's pretty obvious as well with only a little discussion.
