She increased Yahoo's value 200%. How is everyone missing this?
- scholia 9y agoBecause she didn't. Yahoo's value was the stakes it had in other companies (Alibaba and Yahoo Japan). Mayer had nothing at all to do with their increase in value, and therefore nothing at all to do with Yahoo's subseqent increase in value.
- briandear 9y agoYahoo's value increased 200% while she was there. Corelation doesn't equal causation.
