You get a certain number (9, I believe) of free articles per month
- brudgers 9y agoOften such limits are enforced by a cookie that the site stores on the user's computer. The site increments a counter in the cookie on each subsequent visit. If a user chooses to delete the cookies that a business is storing on their computer (say to reduce tracking across the internet), often the business will just send a new one and the count will start again.
