- Taniwha 10y agomore close to US$.7, but depends on how much you earn, a short cab ride might be 10-20RMB - it matters
- personjerry 10y agoCorrect me if I'm wrong but 1 USD ~~ 7 Yuan so it's closer to $0.4, not $0.7?
- inimino 10y agoIn PPP terms, 3 RMB is closer to $3 than to $0.4. The official exchange rate is not relevant to questions about daily life.
- Taniwha 10y agoYes you're right I don't follow the yuan day to day, but I do visit many times a year, my mental exchange rate is a red Mao (100rmb) is approx $20 ... I guess it's slipping, good for my manufacturing
