My father-in-law retired at 75; he was writing embedded systems for machines involved in chip manufacture. I'm 56 now. I'm just going to go until I can't do it any more; 75 would be great. Writing software and working with hardware is pretty awesome. Consider how fortunate we are, who have found successful professions that we enjoy -- many people don't get that opportunity.
