- pritambaral 9y ago1. It isn't obvious — and hasn't been clarified — that was a joke. 2. Going through a harrowing experience usually toughens one up to the causing elements, sure. Being tough about X doesn't mean you should see every reference to X as a joke; quite the opposite, in fact.
