- anigbrowl 9y agoNot only is the generation instrumentalized, but real time consumption by heavy electricity users (steel mills, rail operators and so) has been A Thing since the early 1990s. I know because I built very early versions of consumption dashboards* for the sales/billing department of National Power, one of the major UK generators. * in fucking Lotus 1-2-3, of all things
