I'm sorry, but I had to laugh when the "Hacker Monthly" blog post told me on which devices I would be able to read the eBook. You should know your audience a little better than that I think. Just being snarky :)
The easiest way to read the eBook: save the PDF to the eBook folder on your DropBox and it's already on all your devices.

Well, to be fair to him, he just copied a section from one of our help pages (http://fifobooks.com/device_chart.html http://fifobooks.com/device_chart.html), since not everyone who visits our site knows how. I agree with you, though, that it might have been unnecessary in this particular case.
