Traefik is purely a proxy, Caddy is a webserver. Traefik can efficiently deal with proxying HTTP traffic but cannot serve files and is not as easy to configure if you're not using Docker or similar. Caddy can serve files or PHP but is not as good with proxying HTTP traffic.
