Yes, this is a UI for Ethereum Smart Contracts. It is not in production yet, it is still running on the Ethereum Testnet. I suppose it will undergo more testing before it goes live on the main net. There're a few smart contracts that are already in production and being used, but the whole smart contract (DAPP) ecosystem is currently blossoming. There're many interesting dapps soon to be released. Since everything ethereum is so new and untested, development takes much longer to make sure there're no non-obvious loopholes and bugs.
