The problem that GP is getting at is that while, sure, the article factually doesn't have any problems, it's quite disingenuous to imply that now that white America is faced with these issues, this is a serious problem - even though these are issues which have been historically pervasive in many minority groups. It may not fit the traditional idea of Jim Crow style racism, but the article's implications are certainly there.
