Should contract enforcement pervade every industry? Or in other words, why would enforcing contracts be a "regulation" specific to airlines? As far as I know, regulations would mean a set of rules spelled out by the executive branch of the government, imposed upon businesses that qualify by existing in some industry. Contracts seem to be way broader than that. But I am not a lawyer. I agree that some form of standardized terms for communication should exist in the market. And I don't know enough about airline regulations to say they don't already exist. I assume the article in question would not tell me if such regulations exist, as it does not advance the "deregulation is bad" narrative.
