I'm going to guess your unspoken assertion is that these things would have happened anyway - or even faster, natch! - had the government not gotten involved and mandated ever-stricter safety requirements. I do not agree.
- bogomipz 9y agoI don't have any "unspoken assertion", I really don't understand your comment. What is "natch"? The FAA's issuing of new safety regulations has historically been reactionary, they are generally enacted in response to an accident or specific incident. It is actually only very recently that they have shifted from a reactive event based system to a proactive form of risk management.
