  Here's the thing, unless you could somehow get rid of every gun on the planet, crazy with a gun is a thing. Given that people can hand craft a revolver with parts from Home Depot, guns are a thing. I am fairly liberal. I'd rather allow good guys with guns to carry than not. It's better to allow people liberty than to take it away in the name of safety. It's better to realize that anyone can make highly damaging weapons at home (looking at you Boston Bomber).
