TV is declining, just like newspaper empires. Streaming is expanding as it's own empire even though it smells and tastes like TV it's different. Google and Facebook kill with ads so they'll continue to drive "innovation" for eyeballs as again traditional TV attempts to stop the bleeding. Innovation is where newspapers failed. I'm streaming mlb right now and reading HN, TV can't offer that experience easily.
