This. I knew about the Centurion, but I considered their normal cards to be on the same standing as any other. I have their free Everyday card, because they're pretty much the only issues in the UK who still offer cashback.
- phil21 10y agoAnd you are correct. Only the Centurion has any social signaling power (real, at least). Any other Amex? It's just a credit card, who gives a shit.
- rdl 10y agoAmex Corp Card with the name of a well-known and respected company still has some social signaling power, I think. (Like if the card said SpaceX under the user's name)
