Four choices - they could have upped their incentive until the doctor, or someone else decided to take. I'd bet someone would have gladly taken a $1,350 voucher.
- ghaff 10y agoWell, yes. That's what I meant by "United should have done anything reasonable to get a volunteer." To be clear, I absolutely fault United for letting the situation get to the point where there were no reasonable options.
- s73ver 10y agoOr cash. If you're involuntarily bumped, they have to offer you cash, not a voucher that can only be used on certain days and expires in a year.
