- orf 9y agoScreaming and bleeding, don't forget. You didn't answer his comment though, why didn't they offer more money? Where is your compassion?
- wfunction 9y agoAnd did they offer cash, or just a voucher?
- connorcpu 9y agoThey were offering $800 worth of vouchers, but it's multiple vouchers where you can only use 1 at a time and they expire in a year.
- wfunction 9y agoGod... vouchers are useless unless you travel and want to do it with United. If they really care to avoid messing up their image they need to give cash...
- frgtpsswrdlame 9y ago>but REQUIRES that United do so. It doesn't require that United call police to remove someone after they hit some arbitrary price limit. >He didn't "stand up" -- he ran back onto a flight, screaming, after he didn't get his way. Sorry, but he needs to go to jail for disrupting his flight and the flight downstream that didn't have a flight crew because of his antics. Good. He should inflict as much pain on the corporate beauracracy as possible. He should make everyone involved in this situation pissed off and then he should remind them that this is United's fuckup, not his. I also hope he takes as many millions as he can get out of United's pocketbook, especially considering their CEO's immediate response.
- arnarbi 9y agoCan you link to that regulation?
- samfisher83 9y agoThey could have just booked their crew on a different flight.
