I wouldn't call Zoroastrianism an "obscure" religion at all. The term really doesn't fit. Zoroastrianism was a major religion and the religion of one of the worlds major empires years ago. True it's declined and doesn't have many adherents today but the word "obscure" just doesn't fit.
