I'm just as worried, maybe more worried, that the first response to a hostage situation with explosives involved is to breach and clear with no apparent surveillance / investigation.
- beaconstudios 10y agoand no negotiation, which would both establish whether there was a real situation and whether it could be de-escalated without violence.
- vidarh 10y agoWhich makes me wonder when we'll see the first terrorist attack involving bundling a bunch of hostages in a house, rigging it to explode, and calling a swat team for maximum effect.
