- HenryBemis 10y agoIf they go public, they will HAVE to release their financial statements (audited & signed off) and then we will be learning what is what.
- Phlarp 10y agoThey can't go public under PR siege.

- azernik 10y agoProtip - if you add "this is a laconic phrase" to the end of a laconic phrase, it ceases to be a laconic phrase.
- forgotmysn 10y agoya no chance of that happening any time soon
- chimeracoder 10y agoUnder Section 12(g), they probably should have had to report this information anyway, even without going public. However, it seems they've found an "innovative" way to skirt that part of the law: http://lawprofessors.typepad.com/business_law/2016/01/uber-and-section-12g.html http://lawprofessors.typepad.com/business_law/2016/01/uber-a...
- toomuchtodo 10y agoI await the data leak with bated breath.
- zeroer 10y agoYou mean "breath", not "breathe". You mean "bated", not "baited".
- Mz 10y agoHumorously, I did not know it was bated until maybe two or three years ago. I always imagined it was something like a cat who just ate cheese to lure the mouse to its trap. (Yes, I have all kinds of college and good grades and yadda. This word is a tad obscure.)
- zeroer 10y agoThat mental image is pretty funny.
- adpirz 10y agoFigured as much, but I'm wondering if there's a proxy out there that could at least give us insight -- weekly app store downloads perhaps? Also not sure how available those metrics are.
