I read the article and I was wondering if you've tried the blue-light blocking sunglasses ( https://www.lowbluelights.com/detail.asp?id=48 https://www.lowbluelights.com/detail.asp?id=48 ) or something similar? Also you could check out BluBlocker sunglasses which can be gotten cheap on eBay. But, I'm not sure if they will work for what you want.
