I know I'm being completely naive but can all electron apps share one runtime (sorta like one browser with multiple tabs)?
- jhasse 9y agoYes, they would simply link stuff dynamically (.so, .dll, .dylib files). But everyone is using a slightly different version of Electron and macOS and Windows don't have a good enough package manager, so everyone is static linking everything.
