What's your cpu utilization like? Xeon E5-1630 seems a little overkill
- velodrome 10y agoThe article doesn't mention it but it is probably for deduplication. This processor supports RAM 128GB+. ZFS dedup uses a lot of ram.
- melp 10y agoOh, it's totally overkill, but I don't have any regrets. I have a couple VMs that can sit on a lot of CPU time when they're in active use.
