I'm surprised they mentioned the $30,000 number multiple times in the article. How much someone makes without the context of how many hours they drive is meaningless.

  And does it count the depreciation, extra maintenance expenses, etc, of their vehicle? Or the write-off, when Uber decides that their vehicle no longer qualifies to be on the platfrom?
