I used to drive my wife to work, down the 405 corridor. With traffic 30-45 minutes, an hour on a bad day. But when she takes the bus it takes close to two hours, mainly because she had to transfer. Going to Seattle is better, if I catch one of the few express buses. Taing the express is usually faster than driving. But miss the express, then it takes closer to two hours
