I'm Toronto-based. While I was working on my first startup, I received many more job offers than when I was salary-based. A large part of this is, of course, that when you're working on a start-up you do a lot more networking, by necessity. The offers were from other startups or small companies, though... are large companies in Toronto willing to pick up entrepreneurs? I don't know.
