Both are nice and pleasant guys to work with, unlike a lot of the drooling idiots that act like this "rivalry" is some sort of football game. Funny how master craftsmen don't often blame their tools, they sharpen them instead.

- peatmoss 10y agoI agree—it's about not blaming the tools, but also following Vonnegut's rule: Goddamnit, you've got to be kind. Some of our other FOSS luminaries have chosen a different interaction model. Sometimes that other approach to technical project leadership is touted as necessary. I'm sure Hadley and Wes suffer their fair share of fools, and they generally seem to do so with kindness.
