I recently had a discussion with family about nuclear energy. One member was worried about it because the plants would be targets for foreign attacks. I told him we already have plenty of plants operating that could be attacked. Then I quickly pulled up a list of all the nuclear plants in the US. There's already one less then a hundred miles from his home. He still wasn't convinced. I think a lot of people have irrational fear about nuclear and nothing short of a miracle will change that.
